Years ago I had three friends who shared an apartment. Two of them, Manny and Moe, were always pulling pranks on each other and really getting under each other’s skins.

One night I went over to their apartment and Jack, the third roommate, was on the couch, I asked him where the other guys were. He told me that Manny was in the shower and that Moe had just gone into his room. Manny had really gotten him mad with some prank he pulled so he was going to “get him”.

I sat on the couch next to Jack to see what was going to happen next. Well, Manny gets out of the shower and literally runs to his room and locks the door, out of fear of retaliation from Moe, shouting that he is going to bed because he has to wake up early in the morning.

20 minutes pass by, 40 minutes, and then an hour passes. Suddenly we hear a scream and Manny frantically trying to open the door he had locked, yelling gibberish the entire time. It turns out that Moe had gone into his room and pulled the bed out from against the wall just enough to where he could wedge himself sideways into the crevice.

Moe could hear Manny searching the room when he first got in, looking everywhere even under the bed but did not see anyone hiding. Moe waited until Manny did his nightly stuff, got into bed and fell asleep behind the security of his locked door.

Then, ever so slowly, Moe started making soft growling noises and reached up out of the crevice and grabbed Manny by the back of the neck. The rest, Jack and I heard from the living room! - DofN
