A Change of Focus
Welcome! Nobody's Listening is a clean comedy podcast and blog. You can subscribe (free) to this site and receive updates automatically. Thanks for visiting!

The Nobody’s Listening blog is going to focus a bit. At first it existed to serve the podcast. Then, over time, I began adding links to interesting things I found on the web and a few articles here and there on podcasting and my real life. These days you’re getting any or all of those plus full-blown articles about things that are way to heavy topic-wise especially when compared to our show.
The blog is not an accurate reflection of what the podcast is. The site and show co-exist in two different forms but not in the same function. I want people to feel the same visiting this site as they do when they’re listening to the show… and vice versa.
Some of the best parts of the show have been your stories, input, comments and voice mails. I’m going to start featuring listener submitted stories, possibly with some written commentary. This will give others a chance to add your own comments and cracks. Maybe we’ll read a few of them on the show. I’m thinking about illustrating the odd story web comic style. I’d like to do more NLCastTV videos as well as Photoshop contests, photo captioning games, polls and the like. Doesn’t that seem like something the website of Nobody’s Listening Podcast would have on it? I think so too.
What ideas do you have to bring the podcast and the website closer together? Post your thoughts in the comments.

I think it’s a great idea to make the blog mirror what the podcast is. Whenever there’s a featured story you should post more pictures relating to things that were referenced on the show. I know you have the one picture you make for the podcast itself, but it’d be cool if you had more pictures relating to certain things…or maybe even home video.

Funny you should mention that. We don’t have a lot of photos from our past… but David is going ‘home’ next week and is planning on visiting a lot of the place to take pictures. Though their childhood home is now abandoned… a lot of stuff is still there… the van… the lincoln… the gocart. So hopefully we’ll have some good stuff to share soon.

I think that’s a good idea.
I would love to see more NLCast TV.
